The mobile TV demonstrations in Las Vegas during NAB 2009 proved to be one of the most exciting events of the show.

Coming soon is a site dedicated to the markets, deployments, trends, technology, and uses of mobile TV on cell phones, PDAs, PMPs, UMPCs and other handheld devices.

Commercial deployments of mobile TV have been most succesful in Asia due to relatively small geographic areas with greater population density, and the high number of commuters using public transportation. With the rollout of satellite based systems, mobile TV will see increased automotive applications in North America, Europe, and northern Africa.
