To be a technological leader and address current and future world challenges,
the U.S. must produce a significant number of quality engineers and scientists.
At the same time, statistics that our educational system is struggling are overwhelming,
and the quest to inspire and keep our youth engaged in technical fields is difficult.
With ubiquitous access to information,
the keys to applying knowledge effectively to produce innovation become
critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and collaboration.
Acumen Design has established academic and high-tech corporate partnerships
to promote STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education in
junior high, high school, and post-secondary institutions.
We are currently engaged in a program to integrate problem-based learning
into secondary school curriculum leveraging real-world engineering tasks.
To provide a highly relevant STEM education to our next generation of inventors and innovators,
please contact us for more information on how to become an academic partner.
